On this #GivingTuesday we are raising funds to support orphaned and the most vulnerable children in Ukrainian orphanages. Despite the challenges that 2020 brought upon us, let us end the year with something beautiful! Through our initiatives we supply items of necessity, help to improve academics and provide mentorship for kids from the disadvantaged communities.

We are grateful for the incredible support from each one of you who believes in our mission. It is your support that enables us at Omnis to continue our work and give hope for a better tomorrow to those facing crisis.

Breaking Barriers at the Ukrainian Institute of Art in NYC

Our event Tila: Breaking Barriers that took place in NYC on May 14th was a success! Through Education Breaks Barriers project, we provide disadvantaged children with quality education to develop their potential and break barriers in order to succeed in life.

Many thanks to our wonderful sponsors – Ukrainian Institute of America, Eva Anna Brandys with the Lakewood Concervatory of Fine Arts, Korchma Taras Bulba, and Planet Now – for making this event happen.

“RaDity” – Creativity at a Summer Camp

Posted by Oksana Khariv

Passion and ideals of many volunteers in Ukraine are overwhelming. Completely pro-bono, they established camp RaDity for kids whose fathers either died in the conflict in Eastern Ukraine or were serving there. RaDity means to enjoy in Ukrainian. And during 2 summer months kids from the entire Ukraine enjoyed the welcoming environment of a tiny village Nedilna.

They lived in tents, learned new skills through different activities, and built life-long friendships. Volunteers looked after kids, cooked meals; physiologists weaved in special exercises into kids’ daily activities and through art, music and dance helped them deal with the trauma.

We visited RaDity, located at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains in Nedilna, on its last day – kids were playing a game (similar to Scavenger hunt). Organized, happy and creative. Volunteers, dressed in home-made costumes only added more magic to this incredible environment.
