At Omnis we believe that working together leads to a stronger, broader and faster impact. That’s why we continuously aim to expand our programs and build new connections.

In partnership with Dr. Fuzaylov (Pediatric Anesthesiology at Harvard Medical School) who also heads Doctors Collaborating to Help Children and Dr. Korets (Urologic Surgery at Harvard Medical School), we compiled and shipped more than 20 pallets of critical medical supplies to Ukraine. The supplies are sent to one of our hubs located in the city of Dnipro and from there are distributed to other towns where children, women and men need urgent medical treatment.

“Since my initial call for help, there’s been an overwhelming response with many reaching out to offer their help with supplies for Ukraine,” says Dr. Korets.

In the matter of days, he and a team of over 50 volunteers from various hospitals and medical schools, including Harvard, Mass General, Northeastern, Tufts gathered at their base at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. They then moved the operation to the MedFlight Hanger in Bedford, MA, assembling pallets full of emergency medical supplies.

This year, it was more important than ever for Omnis to have the established connections and volunteer groups across the country to help sort, organize and pack medical supplies, create labels, coordinate transportation and other logistical tasks from all corners of the country. These efforts are truly incredible.

Established partnerships (i.e., Omnis has been partnering with Dr. Fuzaylov for over 5 years) and trusted, reliable networks are vital for us at Omnis. It allows us to mobilize quickly and provide much needed support to the people of Ukraine.
