Sunday Suppers

We partnered with Sunday Supper Foundation to help local communities and together expand the project by hosting dinners in cities across the U.S.

Sunday Supper Foundation was established to create a space for community and connection with refugee families in their new home cities, while raising funds to help these families on their resettlement journey.

The foundation hosts pop up supper clubs held in the homes of community members, where the refugee family prepares a meal of food from their country and 30-40 guests join for a sit-down dinner. All guest donation proceeds then go directly to the family.

In their first year, Sunday Supper Foundation held 11 suppers, raising over $15,000 to help 8 families from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Myanmar and Congo. They plan to continue with the suppers as well as expanding their service to the refugee families to provide continued support through donation drives and job assistance.
